Teen Mom star Leah Messer has reportedly asked a judge for a protective order against ex-husband Jeremy Calvert
Leah Messer has experienced many ups and downs during her time in the spotlight, but her personal life has stabilized over the past year. So, Teen Mom fans are shocked today by the news that Leah filed a domestic violence protective order against her second husband and father of her youngest daughter, Jeremy Calvert.
Incident that caused Leah Messer to file for Protection
The action stems from an alleged incident in which Calvert arrived at the restaurant where Leah works with the intention of threatening and harassing her.
According to a new report from Ashley’s Reality Roundup, Jeremy had the support of a hidden girlfriend and a group of male friends. One onlooker described the collision as “scary,” but fortunately, no one was injured. However, it seems that the incident affected Leah so much that she felt the need to take legal action against her ex.
“He was stalking Leah and scaring her,” a witness told The Ashley.
“He had a group of people with him, plus his girlfriend supporting him,” the source said.
“The large group created quite a commotion inside the restaurant.”
Although Leah and Jeremy have reunited several times in the years since their divorce, the source insisted that this was not a lover’s feud.
“They haven’t been together like this in a long time,” the source tells The Ashley.
Another source says the conflict was especially surprising due to the fact that Leah and Jeremy have had little contact with each other in recent months.
“Jeremy now lives out of state and sees Addie less frequently,” a second source tells The Ashley.
“Jeremy’s mom is still very involved with Addie, though.”
We have no information about what led to the dispute. But witnesses seem to agree that Jeremy was the attacker.

Leah has been working as a waitress since September, and it was recently announced that she passed her real estate exam.
Messer says she wants to stay busy now because her children are in school, but her side jobs have led her fans to accuse her of mismanaging her finances.
Whatever the case, she certainly has the right to go to work without fear of harassment from her angry ex-partner.
Both Leah and Jeremy have yet to speak publicly about the matter.
