Julia Roberts gives a rare quote about her husband, Danny Moder: ‘He’s so strong and loving’
Julia Roberts still gets teary-eyed when she talks about her husband, Danny Moder!
On Tuesday, Julia spoke to Gayle King on CBS Mornings and got a little nervous talking about her husband.
“It’s so embarrassing,” she told King when she mentioned that she still grins from ear to ear when Moder’s name is mentioned.
In a rare moment in the interview, Roberts talked about the man she calls “my person.”
“He’s really…he’s my favorite person,” the 56-year-old actress said. “He is very intelligent, kind, and dynamic in the way he sees the world and admires people. He is very strong and affectionate.”

Roberts and Moder’s love story in Hollywood began in 2000, when they met on the set of The Mexican, where Moder was a camera operator. The couple married on July 4, 2002. They have 16-year-old Henry and 19-year-old twins Hazel and Phineas.
In July, the Julia shared a rare PDA photo on Instagram in honor of her and Moder’s 21st birthday. It included fireworks emojis and the hashtags “#truelove #heckyeah #fromhereonout”.
Earlier this year, the Oscar-winning actress opened up about her home life, which she called a “dream come true.”
“Being an actress has never hurt me,” she said during a previous interview on CBS Sunday Mornings. “It’s my dream come true, but it’s not my only dream come true,” she said. “The life I’ve built with my husband, the life we’ve built with our kids, is the best. At the end of the day, I’m coming home victorious.”
