Shannen Doherty doesn’t want certain types of people to attend her Funeral
On 15th January in an episode of the “Let’s Be Clear” podcast Shannen Doherty,52 said that There are lots of people that she thinks will come to attend her Funeral but she doesn’t want them there because the reason for showing up is not necessarily for the best.
She added for those people it is only politically correct to show off at the Funeral despite her relationship with the person. They just don’t want to look bad in front of the media, so Doherty wants to take pressure off of them and wants her funeral to be like a love fest.
She further added, that he doesn’t want anyone to cry or back bitching her like telling “Thank God the Bitch is Dead Now”
Shannen Doherty admits that she is bad at funerals
Doherty said “I don’t know if anybody is good at funerals, but I am the girl who, like, literally sobs. I can’t handle it,” she gave an example of her father John Doherty’s funeral (2010). “I was pleasantly surprised at my dad who showed up. But it made me start thinking about who will show up during my funeral”

Shannen Doherty and her battle with cancer
In 2015 Doherty was diagnosed with breast cancer, and she underwent chemotherapy until 2017. In 2020 she announced that her cancer was back this time as a stage IV cancer. In an interview with the People Doherty revealed that her cancer had spread to her bones.
However, she had not given up on her life. She said “I’m not done with living. I’m not done with loving, I’m not done with creating, I’m not done hopefully for a better change.”
She added that it is a hard pill to swallow, but we have to keep moving. She started the podcast in November 2023 “Let’s Be Clear”
