Ryan Reynolds Praised John Krasinski for his versatility able to make both thrilling and heartwarming movies

Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski are teaming up to present a new film ‘Imaginary Friends’ for young audiences. The collaboration comes as both actors are preparing for the release of their respective ‘R’ rated projects, with Reynolds working on ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ and Krasinski working on the ‘A Quiet Place’ prequel. ‘Imaginary Friends’ will be a unique live-action film, which will blend elements of reality and fantasy.

According to Ryan Reynolds, the desire to make a “live-action Pixar film” was a driving force. He credits Krasinski’s script for capturing that essence perfectly. “We were kind of banging back and forth,” says Reynolds, “we were interested in shooting something that felt like a live-action Pixar film. And that’s what John really put on the page.

According to Reynolds, the project seems to be a natural progression for Krasinski as a filmmaker. He acknowledges Krasinski’s unique perspective, which has been shaped by fatherhood. He adds, “I have a hard time thinking of any writer or director who knows more about being a parent than John Krasinski. Being a father and a husband really permeates his cinematic language. It has become stronger.”

Ryan Reynolds praises Krasinski’s versatility and highlights his ability to create films that are both thrilling and heart-touching. He adds, “The most special thing to me is that he can make a film as scary and provocative as A Quiet Place, yet he can also make a film as tender, unexpected, and hilarious as IF.”
IF stars Reynolds and Krasinski as well as the voice talents of Cailey Fleming, and Fiona Shaw and Voice artists Louis Gossett Jr., Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Steve Carell. These actors bring to life whimsical characters who epitomize the limitless power of a child’s imagination. Also read – New Lord Of The Rings Movie confirmed by Warner Bros.
