Offset and Cardi B enjoy date night in New York
Cardi B and Offset continue to fuel rumours that they have rekindled their romance.
The pair were seen in a fan video on the big screen while sitting courtside at the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night (April 30). Additionally, Offset shared an adorable video of Cardi on her Instagram Stories, in which she relaxed in a home movie theatre seat wearing a sleek plaid mini skirt and puffy boots, accessorized with sparkly jewellery and a Birkin bag.
Despite Cardi announcing in December that she was single, the publicity came from her ex-husband, ending the couple’s tumultuous six-year relationship. However, keeping their tumultuous journey in mind, the couple was seen spending New Year’s Eve together in Miami.
In a live Twitter chat the next day, Cardi confirmed that she and the Migos rapper spent time together. “Was I clubbing with my baby’s father yesterday?” Cardi told the crowd during the X event. “Yeah. Did I get D—ed yesterday? Sure baby… I want some D—ed on New Year’s Eve.”
Cardi reportedly told fans to “shut the f–k up” as they speculated that she was back with Offset, and called her a “f–king fuck” for “talking” about him. “Did I mention I’m back with someone?” she shouted. Cardi B and Offset’s complicated relationship
In 2017, Cardi B began dating fellow rapper Offset. They got engaged on October 27, 2017. On April 7, 2018, during her second appearance on Saturday Night Live, Cardi B revealed her pregnancy; At that time she was about six months (24 weeks) pregnant. On June 25, 2018, TMZ obtained a marriage license, which revealed that Cardi B and Offset had secretly married in September 2017, a month before the public proposal. He later confirmed this in a social media post.
Cardi B gave birth to her daughter on July 10, 2018. In December 2018, she announced on Instagram that she and Offset had separated, although the pair later reunited. In February 2019, the couple made a public appearance for the Grammys. He accompanied her on stage during her acceptance speech for Best Rap Album
In September 2020, it was reported that Cardi B had filed for divorce from Offset, but the following month it was revealed that they were back together. In June 2021, Cardi B revealed that she was pregnant with her second child, a boy. She gave birth to their son on September 4, 2021. On their fifth wedding anniversary, Cardi B announced that she was planning her official wedding.
In December 2023, Cardi B shared via Instagram that she was “single for a minute”, confirming that she and Offset are no longer together. However, as of March 2024, the current status of their marriage was unclear as they were still working together, with Offset directing a music video for Cardi B. But now it seems they are back together.
