Kate Middleton and Prince William are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary on Monday (April 29). Marking the special day, the Prince and Princess of Wales have shared never-before-seen photos of themselves

“13 years ago today!” read the caption of the photo shared on the couple’s social media channels.
The black-and-white portrait shows Prince William and Princess Kate smiling and standing together, with the royal bride holding a bouquet composed primarily of Queen Elizabeth’s favourite flower, the lily of the valley.

Kate looked gorgeous in Queen Elizabeth’s Cartier Halo tiara and a white V-neck gown with lace overlay by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, which she wore to a church service at Westminster Abbey.

Meanwhile, Prince William wore a different outfit for the ceremony. While the groom’s wedding attire was the red tunic of the Irish Guards – of which he was the colonel in chief at the time, although Princess Kate took over the role from her husband in 2022 – he later changed into the black uniform of the Blues and Royals in the new photo.

The new image was credited to Millie Pilkington. Not only this, Millie recently photographed the first anniversary of the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla and last year she photographed the 3 young royals – Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis and Prince George. Kate’s cancer diagnosis

It has been a challenging few months for Kate Middleton, William and the entire royal family. In March, the princess revealed that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was receiving preventive chemotherapy.
In a video released on the official social handles of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Kate praised William for being there for her during the difficult times.

Following the announcement, Prince William cleared his calendar to be with his wife and hold his first public event after his children returned to school following the Easter holidays.

“Having William with me is also a great source of comfort and reassurance,” she said. It has not been revealed what type of cancer he is suffering from.
