X Men 97 Trailer is out and it will be a follow-up of the 97 animated series
X Men 97 trailer is out and it shows a promising storyline for the upcoming Marvel animated series on Disney+. The animated series is the follow-up from the 1992 X Men: The Animated Series which continued till 1997 after completing its 5th season. The animation series was announced in 2021. In the series, Professor X and his team of mutants deal with various mutant criminals and protect the Earth.
The show wrapped up with Professor X heading from Earth towards Shi’ar Homeworld leaving his team behind. According to X Men 97 showrunner Beau Demayo -“This season is very much about the challenges the Xmen will face with a future they don’t expect.” As we know humanity considers mutants or people with the X gene as diseases and is continuously trying their best to eliminate the X Gene and the mutant. Why did they start the X-Men animated series again?
They indeed started the following of the X-Men animated series almost 2 and a half decades ago. According to DeMayo pressure to make the follow-up came due to the large fanbase for the characters and original animated series. Eric Lewald and his wife Julia Lewald both working as the writer and Editor of X-Men and The Avenger: United They Stand, believed that Marvel and Disney were able to see the success of original series streaming on Disney+.
