Tracy Chapman & Luke Combs sang “Fast Car”
On Sunday Tracy Chapman made a surprise entry at Grammy Awards 2024 to join Luke Combs for singing “Fast Car”
Both Tracy Chapman, 59, and Luke Comb, 33 received standing ovations from the audience for duetting. Taylor Swift, Oprah Winfrey, and other stars were also included in the Audience who gave the Standing Ovation.

The song won a Grammy in 1989 for best female pop vocal performance. The song again got the spotlight when Luke Comb included a cover of it in his “Gettin’Old” 4th studio album.
The “Beautiful Crazy” Crooner’s version became one of the most streamed songs 2023which later won two CMA Awards and made Chapman the 1st ever black Woman to win a trophy at a Nashville-based ceremony.
Chapman shared a statement in July “I’m happy for Luke and his success and grateful that news fans have found and embraced “Fast Car.”
