Harry Potter star Tom Felton reveals even he is surprised by Harry Potter’s enduring popularity
Harry Potter’s increasing popularity amazes Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy). The franchise began in June 1997 with the release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone on November 16, 2001, and ended with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 on July 15, 2011. Felton explained that after the last film, they all expected the franchise to end slowly, but as it gets more popular each year, Felton as a Harry Potter fan, can understand why. People still love the franchise and pass it on to the next generation.

In an interview with E! News, Tom Felton also talked about the changes being made to the series.
He asked if he could go back and redo the things that his 11-year-old self had done and, except that the story of the film was perfect.
