Taylor Swift invite dead fan family to the concert. Ana Clara Benevides Machado a swift fan who died before Eras Tour Show
The family of Ana Clara Benevides Machado, a Taylor Swift fan who died before an Eras Tour show in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, earlier this month, attended the singer’s Sunday show.
The 23-year-old fan died before Swift’s concert at Nilton Santos Stadium on November 17. She felt unwell at the Rio venue and was treated by first responders before being taken to a nearby hospital, where he died, event organizer Time For reported. Fans announced on Twitter.
At Swift’s Sunday show, just nine days after Benevides Machado’s death, the late fan’s family watched the artist from a VIP tent, a clip captured by a fan shared on the X show.
Swift, 33, invited Benevides Machado’s loved ones, including her father, Wayne Machado, to her latest tour of Brazil in Sao Paulo.
Taylor heartful message after she learn about Benevides Machado’s death
After learning of Benevides Machado’s death on Nov. 17, Swift shared a message about her late fan on her Instagram Story.
“I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but it’s with a broken heart that I say we lost a fan before my show tonight,” the singer began. “I can’t even express how devastated I am by this. I have very little information other than the fact that she was incredibly beautiful and very young.”
She wrote: “I won’t be able to talk about this from the stage because even when I try to talk about it, I am overwhelmed with grief.” “I want to say that I am now coming to terms with this loss. I feel deeply for him and my heart goes out to his family and friends.”
“This is the last thing I thought would happen when we decided to take this tour to Brazil,” she said.
The group of five wore matching T-shirts emblazoned with Benevides Machado’s face when they met and posed for photos with Swift during and after the show.
