Sydney Sweeney Mock her critics in a humorous Way
Sydney Sweeney is a famous actress of today’s generation. She rose to prominence after her highly acclaimed role as Cassie in the HBO hit series Euphoria. Sweeney is often in the news regarding her relationship or any other matter. This time Sydney Sweeney is in the news for something else. The Euphoria actress apologized for the dazzling appearance after Hollywood producer Carol Baum commented on her appearance.
Sweeney delivers a comedic punch following Carol Baum’s recent comments.
The “Euphoria” actor posted a series of Hawaii vacation photos to his Instagram, including several photos of her in a grey crew-neck sweatshirt with the caption, “Sorry for having great t—.”
What causes the tension between Sweeney and Baum?
At a recent screening of Baum’s 1988 film “Dead Ringers,” the producer said that Sweeney’s hit romantic comedy “Anyone But You” is “not worth watching” and that the star is “not pretty” and “can’t act.”
According to the Daily Mail, the producers said, “There’s an actress that everybody likes now, Sydney Sweeney; I don’t get Sydney Sweeney.”
The producer said she watched Sweeney’s 2023 romantic comedy Anybody But You on a plane and described her feelings after watching the film. “She wanted to know who (Sydney Sweeney) was and why everyone was talking about her,” she said. Baum is also an assistant professor at the University of Southern California and said she discussed Sweeney with her students. “I said to my students, ‘Explain this girl to me. She’s not attractive, and she can’t act. Why is she so attractive? Nobody had an answer.’
Sweeney, himself a producer on the film which also stars Glen Powell, and his team immediately condemned Baum’s statements.
A spokesperson for Sweeney told The Times, “How sad that a woman would choose to attack another woman rather than be in a position to share her expertise and experience.” “If this is what they’ve learned during their decades in the industry and they feel it’s appropriate to teach it to their students, then that’s a shame.”
