Stranger Things Actress Millie Bobby Brown gets married to Boyfriend Jake Bongiovi
Millie Bobby Brown, one of Hollywood’s most beloved and talented actresses, is now married. The Stranger Things star, 20, reportedly married her long-time boyfriend Jake Bongiovi in a secret ceremony last weekend in the US.
According to The Sun, Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi opted for a low-key but romantic celebration, an intimate affair attended only by family members. However, the couple is said to be hosting a grand official ceremony later this year.
Millie and Jake’s relationship
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi made their relationship Instagram official in June 2021 when Jake posted a photo with Millie on his social media feed. Shortly after, they were seen holding hands in New York City and attended events together, including the BAFTA Film Awards and the premiere of Millie’s show on Netflix.
In 2023, Millie referred to Jake as her “life partner” and, four months later, Jake proposed to her. Millie Bobby Brown shared the news of her engagement on Instagram and quoted Taylor Swift’s lyrics from Lover. Captioning her Instagram post, she wrote: “I’ve loved you three summers now honey, I want them all.”
Speaking about her wedding preparations last year, Millie Bobby Brown told Women’s Wear Daily (WWD): “It’s a very exciting time in my life. I think I’m probably closing the curtains, just because there are a limited number of moments when those that “you only have that life once” and having everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that seems unnatural to me, that’s why I feel that it is important to keep those things, those small and precious moments of life, very close to the chest.”

Born on May 7, 2002, as Jacob Hurley Bongiovi, Jake is the 22-year-old son of singer-songwriter Jon Bon Jovi and his wife Dorothea Hurley. He has two older siblings, Stephanie and Jesse, and a younger brother, Romeo. He grew up in his family’s mansion in Middleton Township, New Jersey, and graduated from Pennington School in Mercer County, where he joined the football team.
Like his wife, Jake also adopted acting as a profession. He began his modelling career by signing with agencies such as William Morris Endeavor and IMG Models. In 2020, he joined Syracuse University to pursue an acting course, but dropped out after a year and reportedly landed a role in a project.
Jake made his acting debut with the 2024 film Rockbottom, starring Tom Everett Scott. He is also part of Jordan Weiss’ upcoming romantic comedy Sweethearts, alongside Kiernan Shipka, Nico Hiraga, Caleb Hearon, and Charlie Hall.
