Shakira and Cardi B share a fun sneak peek of the upcoming music video “Punteria”
Shakira and Cardi B are set to release a music video for their collaboration “Puntería” and fans are already full of excitement. The Colombian superstar shared insights of the upcoming video on her official WhatsApp, giving fans an idea of what’s going to happen.
In behind-the-scenes footage, Shakira and Cardi B are seen summoning powerful gods and goddesses sitting on thrones reminiscent of ancient Greece. Surrounded by a group of women, the pair display strength and femininity, setting the stage for an epic visual spectacle.
The collaboration between the mega singers has been highly anticipated, with fans eagerly awaiting the release of their song “Punteria”.
Cardi B said it that it was a “Dream Project to work with Shakira”

Cardi B admitted that when she first met Shakira, at the Fendi show in Paris, and remembered that she was so nervous at that time.
Shakira returned the favour and waxed poetic about Cardi B’s work ethic, championing the Bronx bombshell’s 2021 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit “Up” as her favourite track. Shakira said the “Up” song is her favourite song by Cardi B. She further goes on to praise Cardi B songwriting skills and her performance.
Shakira also explained how she “always” wanted to work with Cardi, and the time was finally right for “Punteria.”
“I wanted to do something with Cardi. We were always discussing internally whether it was a good idea to have someone on this song. I’ve always featured Cardi in this song. I reached out and here we are,” she added.
Cardi was overjoyed to receive Shakira’s call, which she described as a “dream”.
Cardi B said, she always wanted to collab with Shakira and described it as a dream that came true.
Shaka’s new album follows the Colombian hitmaker’s 2017 set El Dorado, which spent five weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart and includes “Chantaje” with Maluma, “La Bicicleta” with Carlos Vives Songs Includes hits like. The Prince Royce-assisted “Déjà Vu.”
