Selena Gomez, 31, is “never single” after all! The pop sensation confirmed that she is dating record producer Benny Blanco, 35, via a PopFiction Instagram post on December 4. The outlet captioned the post: “Selena Gomez has apparently confirmed that she is in a relationship,” to which she responded: “Done.” Her comments come amid a new selfie with her boyfriend that she shared via her Instagram Story. The Rare Beauty founder also took to the comments section of the same post to defend her man from the haters. When someone called Beanie “ugly,” Selena immediately responded. “I feel bad for you,” she responded with a laughing emoji. The 31-year-old woman praised the producer in front of her fans. According to ELLE, “He treated me better than any human being on the planet.” Selena even said that Benny is “better than anyone she’s ever been with.”
Moving on to confirmation, PopFaction reports that Selena gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, follows Benny on Instagram. Selena and her partner also follow each other’s accounts on social platforms. Selena continued to praise her new love in the comments, saying that he is “perfect” and “everything in my heart.” The Disney Channel alum then left fans fuming when she said Benny was “the best thing that ever happened to her.”
The now-viral selfie was shared via Selena’s Instagram Story the same day and showed her and Benny hugging. Although her face was not shown in the snap, the Only Murders in the Building star was flanked by a man wearing an animal print shirt and a diamond bracelet.
Selena previously dated Justin Bieber, 29, from 2010 until her final split from him in 2018. She has also been linked to musicians Drew Taggart, Nick Jonas and The Weeknd, among others.
The multi-hyphenate star also took to her comments to confirm that her next album will be dropping before fans know it! One fan wrote, “Who are you dating? Just give us good music @SelenaGomez,” to which Selena responded, “OMG I’m so excited for this to arrive.” A fan asked when they could expect “SG3” and he revealed that it will be released “in 2 months.”
