Selena Gomez reveals her friends don’t care about her stardom
Pop singer and actress Selena Gomez recently revealed what kind of group of friends she likes. In a new interview, Selena, 31, revealed that she likes being friends with “smart” people and that girls can be mean.
Speaking to Time, Gomez explained: “It’s a cliché, but girls are mean. It’s a really weird competition to be in the field of cool girls — and then I’m just there.
I don’t know where I shouldn’t be. I like to be with smart people who don’t care about my work.” She also added that her best friends are a producer, a real estate agent, and a cast member.

She also revealed that she will adopt a child at the age of 35 if she cannot find someone.
Selena recently attended the Cannes Film Festival where she walked the red carpet with the cast of her new film Emilia Perez, directed by Jacques Audiard. She was awarded the Best Actress award at the end along with co-stars Zoe Saldana, Karla Sofia Gascon, and Adriana Paz.
