Rosa Doherty, mother of the late Shannen Doherty, will fulfil her daughter’s wishes by taking over her podcast

Shannen Doherty, who passed away at the age of 54 after battling breast cancer for over a decade was known for hosting the popular podcast Let’s Be Clear. A month after the actress’ death, her mother, Rosa Doherty, has revealed that she will continue the podcast.

During a recent episode of the podcast “Let’s Be Clear with Shannen Doherty,” Rosa announced that she would be taking over Shannen’s podcast, a month after the actress died of cancer at the age of 53.

“Now I’m going to do everything I can to try and continue this for her because that’s what we talked about and that’s what she wanted me to do,” Rosa said during the August 15 episode.

Additionally, the veteran actress’ mother described what the podcast meant to the Charmed star. She said, “This podcast meant a lot to Shannen because it allowed her to tell her story and speak her truth.”

“Over the years, there have been so many stories and untruths and things mixed together that finally, she’s like, ‘I want to do this, and I have so many people who have followed me over the years and supported me, and I just want to give them a chance to hear what my life is really like.'” Rosa Doherty added.

While hosting her first episode of Let’s Be Clear, Doherty invited one of her daughter’s closest friends, Anna Marie Kortright.

While speaking to the guest, Doherty’s mother opened up about the grief that followed the Heathers actress’ death.

Kortright also revealed, “I haven’t really cried yet. The two of us have stuck together because we’ve been together taking care of each other.”
