Timothee Chalamet skipped the 2024 Met Gala, opting not to make his debut with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner.
Chalamet has recently been in the New York area shooting the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown. Last week, photos of them on set in Newark, New Jersey were released.
Timothee Chalamet last attended the Met Gala in 2021, when he served as co-chair and wore a white Haider Ackerman ensemble that also included sweatpants. That year’s theme was “In America: A Glossary of Fashion.”
Notably, Chalamet and Jenner attended the Golden Globes together in January. After that public appearance, the couple stepped away from the spotlight. They decided not to attend any other events together and were seen only once in public by fans.
A source told Us Weekly in late April that the two are still dating, despite breakup rumours.
The insider also shot down false rumours that “Kylie is pregnant.” The source said they have recently been in a long-distance relationship as Timothee Chalamet worked on the East Coast.

Some details about Chalamet’s Upcoming movie
Timothee Chalamet and Elle Fanning will star in the upcoming film. Dune actor Chalamet, who will play Dylan and Fanning’s character represents Dylan’s real-life partner Suze Rotolo, whom he dated from 1961 to 1964, when they separated following his affair with Joan Baez.
Rotolo died in 2011 at the age of 67, and inspired many of Dylan’s biggest hits, including ‘Don’t Think Twice’, ‘Boots of Spanish Leather’, and ‘It’s All Right’.
A release date for the film has not yet been announced, but a synopsis gives insight into what fans can expect, reading: “At the Newport Folk Festival in 1965, a young Bob Dylan shakes up his act on the folk music scene by going electric and siring rock as the voice of a generation, defining one of the most transformative moments in 20th-century music.”
Directed by James Mangold, and the cast includes Monica Barbara as singer-songwriter Baez. Edward Norton as folk singer and activist Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as famous musician Johnny Cash.
