Rachael Lillis Cause of Death
Orr launched a GoFundMe page in honour of her sister.
“It is with a heavy heart that I am sorry to say that Rachael passed away. She died peacefully on Saturday night, pain-free, and for that we are grateful. She is with God, the angels, and the family who predeceased her, surrounded by endless love,” Orr wrote in the fundraiser description.
The fund was first set up in May to help with medical bills after Lillis was diagnosed with cancer. The fund has raised about $97,000 as of Monday.
In an update shared on Monday, Orr said the fundraising fund has raised $100,000 to help pay for her medical bills. Donations would go toward “any outstanding medical bills, a memorial service for her, and causes in her name, specifically cancer-fighting efforts.” “It was last week when she was beginning to decline. “This was unexpected and we are completely heartbroken,” Orr continued. “We ask for peace, for now, as her family mourns this loss.”
