Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been appointed as the president of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
Actress-producer Priyanka Chopra Jonas was announced on Tuesday as the president of the Jio MAMI Film Festival, almost four months after Deepika Padukone stepped down from the post.
While Priyanka’s husband, singer Nick Jonas, and her brothers, Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas, are on tour.

The Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) recently revealed its plans for the next year of the festival. The Board of Trustees, comprising eminent personalities of the film industry like Isha Ambani, Vishal Bhardwaj, Kabir Khan, Kiran Rao, Farhan and Zoya Akhtar, Riteish Deshmukh, and others, has unanimously nominated actress, producer, and writer Priyanka Chopra. The Neeta Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center will host the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival from October 27 to November 5 this year.

Priyanka said that she was “proud” to take on the role of president of the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival. She said she looks forward to working with the strong women on the team and taking the festival to the “next level.”
