Many Political parties approach Dwayne The Rock Johnson for upcoming President election
Dwayne The Rock Johnson says he has been contacted by political parties to see if he would be interested in running for president in the upcoming election.
Former late-night host Trevor Noah’s podcast “What Now?” With Trevor Noah, Johnson, 51, discussed his feelings about entering the political arena and whether he would ever consider running for the highest office in the land.
At one point in the interview, Noah mentioned a 2021 poll that said 46 percent of American adults would consider supporting the Jumanji star if he ran for office in the future.
Johnson said, “It was an interesting survey, and I was really impressed. I was very surprised and very honored.”
Political parties are interested in Dwayne Popularity
Another poll conducted around the same time found that 58 percent of Americans would like to see Johnson as the next president of the United States. He also recently said that some political parties were so interested in his popularity that they came directly to him.
“I will share this with you: at the end of the year 2022, the parties asked me if I was going to apply and if I can apply,” said the Jumanji actor.
He further said, “It was something very big and it came out of the blue.” “It was one-on-one, and they conducted that survey, and they also conducted their own in-depth investigation.”
Despite his popularity in the polls, Johnson told the comedian that entering politics was never his goal and that he still turns down people who approach him to run for the same reason he did in 2021.
