Paul Rudd shares the strict diet he followed to prepare for his role in the Ant-Man franchise.
During a recent appearance on the Off Menu podcast, where guests talk about their “dream menu,” hosts Ed Gamble and James Acaster asked the actor what type of water he prefers.
He responded with a laugh, “When I had to train for the Ant-Man movie and I had a very restricted diet, my reward was sparkling water.” “That diet was so terrible. I thought, ‘Okay, now I get some sparkling water; I’ve earned it.'”
Rudd explained that when he did a lot of training and exercise, he would get “a lot of sparkling water” as a reward. Acaster began to ask him if he really felt it was a treat.
“Yeah, it was great,” he said. “It had no taste; I wasn’t going to go crazy.”
The “Only Murders in the Building” actor said that he mostly followed a strict diet and trained for all his Marvel films. “Once you get into it, it’s really not too difficult,” he said, adding that he doesn’t mind eating “really boring food, every now and then,” especially Ever since he wakes up with “lots of energy.” ,
Rudd said Chris Hemsworth diet were more intense
“I remember in Endgame, Chris Hemsworth always had these Tupperware containers, and he would eat oatmeal that was just pureed stuff. He’s working out, and then you’re standing next to a guy like that, and I just think, ‘Well, what does it all mean?’ Why am I beating myself up when it could exist, and then I see myself and it? Present. I can never achieve that. That’s the nice thing about it being Ant-Man; it’s not Thor. But I tried exercising and it didn’t work.
Paul Rudd is not the only actor who undergoes intense training and diet for a role
But Rudd isn’t the only actor to talk openly about undergoing intense training and diet for a role, as Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Allen White, Robert Pattinson, and Channing Tatum are among others who have previously spoken about their experiences in transformation for a particular role
