Only Murders In The Building Season 4

Only murders in the building season 4 shooting will not be in New York

For the first time in the history of Only Murders in the building season 4 will not be in New York City. The series starring Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short were together living in the Arconia building present in New York City. Their love for true crime podcasts inspires them to solve various mystery murders that occur in their building. However this time the location changed to Los Angeles for the upcoming season 4.

Disney TV Group President Craig Erwich spoke about the change in location for the Only Murders in the Building season 4 while giving an interview with Deadline

“Well, I’m very excited to see Steve, Selena, and Martin take a break from the apartment building and come to Los Angeles. So in the same way that John Hoffman used the canvas of Broadway to tell what I think was one of the most unique seasons you’ve ever seen, the same unique Only Murders take will be applied to Los Angeles, which I’m excited about”

Erwich remains secretive about the Only Murders in the Building Season 4 Plot. Also read –

Why did the show shift to Los Angeles?

At the end of season 3 Sazz Pataki’s death was shown, leaving many questions like whether Sazz was the main target of the shooter or Charles was the main target

Only Murders In The Building Season 4

The cliffhanger at the end of Only Murders in the Building season 3 featured the death of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), stuntman and lifelong friend of Charles-Haden Savage (Steve Martin). There is already a question as to whether Sazz was the shooter’s target or whether the real target was Charles himself. Given Sazz’s career as a stuntman and Charles’ career as a television actor, Los Angeles is the perfect setting to explore this mystery. Sazz’s death still took place in Arconia, as did major deaths from previous seasons, but the real investigation may take place elsewhere.

This means the show’s title and the name of the trio’s podcast still work, but a new setup will allow the Hulu comedy to feel fresh and shake things up as it enters Season 4.
