Netflix revealed the first look at Stranger Things season 5 and also hinted at Max’s return
The first look at the fifth and final season of Netflix’s hit web series Stranger Things has been released. A 1-minute and 57-second long video offers a behind-the-scenes look at the filming of the show’s cast, with Millie Bobby Brown reflecting on her time on it.
Stranger Things season 5 was first announced in February 2022, ahead of the release of the hit season 4. Since then, several cast members have been confirmed, including returning favourites like Sadie Sink, following the cliffhanger of Max, along with the new cast member – Linda Hamilton, whose role currently remains a mystery.
The trailer begins by stating that the Stranger Things season 5 crew is about halfway through filming. The video showed several main cast members going through costume closets and visiting the show’s set, including Sink, who will return after Max’s unclear fate in the previous season finale. Millie Bobby Brown gets nostalgic
The video does not show Millie with any of the other cast members. After showing flashbacks of all the season 1 cast members, Millie is shown in a car, driving to the sound stage. She says: “So I started when I was 10 years old. She is now turning 20 (apparently filmed before her birthday in February). “It feels very strange.”
The video also shows several shots of what appears to be the Upside Down. A crew member can be seen applying a sticky substance on set. Jamie Campbell Bower, who plays Vecna, notes that “season 4 was very big,” but that “season 5 feels bigger.” Terminator’s Linda Hamilton also notes, “I love this show, I’m really a fan.”

Netflix has not yet announced when Strangers Things season 5 will air, so we have to wait.
Is Stranger Things a good series?
Stranger Things is as good as everyone says it is. When so much is said about a show like this, it’s hard to live up to the hype. Stranger Things has not only met those expectations but has exceeded them in every way.
Why is Stranger Things season 5 taking so long?
Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo, is known for playing the character Dustin Henderson. In an interview with TMZ, Matarazzo discussed the production of Stranger Things season 5, noting that he feels the show needs to finish filming as soon as possible as the younger cast members are visibly maturing. He also explained the reasons behind the long production process of the final season and why the creators are taking so much time to present the final edit.
He said, “That’s the hope, yeah. Well, we want to get it out as quickly as possible, you know what I mean? It’s just a great season. So, it took us a little while to film and there have been some delays because of the pandemic and both strikes, but we are going full force right now, which is pretty good.
