Michael B. Jordan joins hands with Ryan Coogler the director of Black Panther
Ryan Coogler and Michael B. Jordan are teaming up for a mystery genre film. Michael B. Jordan has worked with Ryan Coogler several times in his career and they are getting ready to team up for another project.
The untitled project will be the next film from Coogler, the creator of Black Panther and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Coogler wrote the screenplay and will direct. Jordan, who has worked frequently with the filmmaker on Panther films including Creed and Fruitvale Station, will star.
A new report says the guys are working on a “genre” movie, but no details are known yet. The report gives some interesting details about how secretive the pre-production process of the film has been.

It is Coogler’s first feature script through his production company, Proximity Media. His only other feature was his 2013 breakthrough, Fruitvale Station. This is a completely new project developed internally.
The project is being described as a “genre” feature. However, it is a broad term that includes horror and its subsets, as well as thriller, science fiction, and even fantasy.
