Margot Robbie is expecting her first baby with her husband Tom Ackerley
Oscar-nominated actress Margot Robbie is reportedly expecting her first child with her husband, film producer Tom Ackerley. The news comes after photos of Robbie on holiday in Italy emerged, sparking speculation about a baby bump. Multiple sources have since confirmed the pregnancy to People magazine. The pair have yet to address the report.
Robbie and Ackerley, also 34, met in 2013 on the set of the Second World War drama Suite Française, where he was an assistant director and she was in front of the camera.
They then married in December 2016 during a private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia. The two never announced their engagement before the wedding.
Robbi and Ackerley were friends first and worked together at production company LuckyChap in a four-person production team that also includes Robbie’s childhood friends Sophia Kerr and Josey McNamara.
The company has produced several films and television series, including I, Tonya, Birds of Prey and Barbie, all starring Robbie.

Having appeared in a few films and television shows, including a three-year run on the Australian soap opera Neighbors, she was certainly rising through the ranks of entertainment but had yet to break into the mainstream. Upon learning that she would be cast in the upcoming collaboration between Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese, Robbie landed an audition for Naomi, the wife of DiCaprio’s corrupt agent Jordan Belfort.
Fighting nerves as she acted out a scene with DiCaprio in front of Scorsese, the actress employed bold improvisation. Instead of simply arguing with her future co-star, as the script called for, Robbie went a step further and unexpectedly slapped DiCaprio.
She later said of the decision: “I slap him in the face. And then I yelled, ‘Fuck you!’ And that’s not in the script at all. The room went silent and I froze.” Although she later confessed that she thought improvisation had cost her the role, her decision was rewarded.

‘Barbie’ star Margot Robbie is ready to return to the big screens. Robbie and Colin Farrell will play the lead roles in Kogonada’s film “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey.”
Kogonada has directed films such as ‘Pachinko’ and “After Yang.” Farrell has appeared in “The Batman” and “The Banshees of Inisherin.”
Major plot details for the film, which will be shot this spring in California, have yet to be revealed. The film is described as an imaginative story of two strangers and the incredible journey that connects them.
