Kayne West apologized to Jews for his past comments

In his latest bizarre turn, Grammy-winning rapper and producer Kanye West, apologized to Jews on Tuesday for anti-Semitic comments he had made in recent years.

West appears to have deleted all previous posts on his Instagram account, leaving only a message in broken Hebrew, apparently translated using software.

In the post, Kanye West said he sincerely apologized to the Jewish community and stated that he did not intend to hurt or disrespect the Jewish people. West wrote in Hebrew on the left instead of the right: “Your forgiveness of him is important and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

Kanye West said several anti-Semitic statements in the past

The musician has said anti-Semitic things several times in recent years, including a 2022 appearance on conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ Infowars podcast in which he praised Hitler and declared himself a Nazi.

In March, Kanye West also deleted all of his previous Instagram posts, leaving only an image from the 2012 film “21 Jump Street,” starring Jewish-American actor Jonah Hill. At the time, he said that Hill’s performance had cured his anti-Semitism.

However, earlier this month, West could be heard ranting about Zionist Jews who own Los Angeles schools, banks and hospitals in a recording published by TMZ.

Israeli Instagram users seemed a little amused by West’s confrontation on Tuesday, with many criticizing the rapper for his continued antics.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, West’s posts now only include statements related to his Yeezy footwear brand. The rapper was suspended from the platform in December 2022 after posting a photo of the Star of David with a swastika.

West’s X account was reinstated in July of this year. Outrage over his comments led clothing companies Balenciaga and Gap to end his association with the rapper, and record label Def Jam announced it would no longer release his albums.
