Julia Garner will be the new Silver Surfer in Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’
Golden Globe and Emmy winner Julia Garner is joining Marvel’s “The Fantastic Four” as Shalla-Bal, a version of Silver Surfer for the upcoming Marvel movie.
She joins Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards (aka Mister Fantastic), Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman), Ebon Moss Bachrach Ben Grimm (aka The Thing) and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch),
Fantastic Four is scheduled to begin shooting this summer, with a release date set for July 25, 2025. It will be the first entry of Phase Six in the MCU, setting up the grand finale of Avengers 5 (previously Kang Dynasty). avengers: secret wars. Garner rose to fame as Ruth Langmore in the Netflix crime drama series Ozark. She starred alongside Laura Linney and Jason Bateman and earned a Golden Globe and three Emmys for her work on the series. She also earned Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for “The Americans,” “Dirty John” and “Inventing Anna,”
