John Legend speaks out on allegations against Sean Diddy Combs

John Legend spoke out on the growing sexual assault allegations against Sean Diddy Combs, expressing his shock and support for the victims, advocating for justice and accountability.

In addition, Legend shared his perspective on these sexual allegations cases, where he firmly believes women should always be considered in such situations. In addition, he expressed his desire for justice for the victims in the case.

In an interview with CNN, the “All of Me” singer said he is “horrified” by the many allegations that have surfaced about Combs, even before the news outlet released a video of the music producer physically assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

“I was horrified by the details I read before the video evidence came out,” John Legend said of the allegations made against Combs by Ventura and several other women. “And of course, it’s something that needs to be brought to light when it happens.”

Video obtained by CNN shows the music producer running out of the hotel room in a towel while a woman, who appears to be Ventura, walks toward the elevator. Allegations on Diddy are “SHAMEFUL”

He told the news outlet that what Combs has been accused of is “shameful,” and that he wants the best for Ventura and “all the other victims” who have alleged he abused them. He concluded, that this incident as shameful and wanted accountability and hopefully some relief to all victims who suffered due to Diddy.

Baby Face and John Legend collaborated with Sean Diddy Combs on their song “Kim Porter,” named after the music producer’s former partner, who died of pneumonia in 2018, they had 3 children together. The track was featured on Combs’ 2023 album, The Love Album: Off the Grid.

Ventura filed a civil lawsuit against Combs in November, accusing him of repeatedly raping and physically abusing her for nearly a decade during their relationship. She said in the lawsuit that she was lured into horrific cycle of violence, abuse and sex trafficking by Sean Diddy Combs. They settled the suit shortly after, with Combs’ attorney Benjamin Brafman saying at the time that the settlement was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”
