Joe Jonas Surprises Guests By Joining Brother Nick Jonas On Stage At 30th Annual AmfAR Gala
On Thursday, May 23, Joe Jonas, 34, delighted the crowd when he took the stage to join his younger brother, Nick Jonas, 31, at the 30th Annual amfAR Gala.
While Nick was scheduled to perform at the event, the addition of the second member of the Jonas Brothers for a performance of the song “Cake By The Ocean” by Joe’s band, DNCE, was an additional fun surprise for guests.
In a video shared by Diplo on Instagram, Nick could be heard saying, “Joe, where are you?” While Joe, dressed in a white suit, took a microphone from what appeared to be Diplo’s hand and walked towards the stage.
“Ladies and gentlemen, give it up for Joe Jonas!” Nick added as his brother joined him.
Playing guitar and singing backing vocals, Nick, who was wearing a cream jacket, white shirt and black pants, followed his older brother’s lead as Joe walked up and down the stage while he performed.
The couple also walked across the stage together as the audience rose for the moment, applauding and recording the show on their phones. Also read – Sean Kingston and his mother arrested after SWAT raid

Sharing a photo on Instagram Stories before the show, the “Close” artist held up a red card that read “Chopard and the Red Sea International Film Festival present” in capital letters.
The card then added: “Featuring a special musical moment with Cher,” “Performance by Nick Jonas,” and “Featured by Demi Moore.”
Meanwhile, ahead of his surprise performance, Joe shared a video on his Instagram Stories of Nick looking out a window of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc.
The Camp Rock star also shared a photo of himself dressed in a white suit alongside DJ and music producer Diplo.
Joe Jonas updated fans with clips of his performance and then reposted a video of the moment he was invited on stage, as well as a clip of actress and late-night host Moore, 61, dancing to “Cake By The Ocean” during the night.
