Jason Momoa SUPER BOWL commercial Joins Zach Braff and Donald Faison for ‘Flashdance’ Remix
Jason Momoa Super Bowl Commercial could do wonders for his comedy career. Jason Momoa is known for his performances in action-heavy projects like “Aquaman,” “Dune” and “Game of Thrones,” but he gets a chance to show it all in a new T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial. Donald Faison and Zach Braff are teamed up with T-Mobile for this Super Bowl ad, this time putting their spin on Irene Cara’s “Flashdance…What a Feeling” from the 1983 film Flashdance.
In the clip, the two knock on the door of none other than fellow actor Jason Momoa, who informs them that their Super Bowl party has been canceled due to cable internet problems.
“Before I had cable, but those wires weren’t me / I needed to find new WiFi,” Braff sings to the tune of the ’80s classic before Faison takes over: “So I’m with 5G. .-Turn on mobile/home internet/it runs on their network/just plug it in and you will see.”
Before delivering the iconic Flashdance wet chair scene, the Aquaman star joins the high-energy chorus and delivers a powerful vocal as he sings, “I need home internet/T-Mobile to make my life complete.
The real surprise comes at the end of the ad, when Flashdance star Jennifer Beals appears, and specifically asks Momoa to take off his shirt and do the entire number again. “You guys are fine,” she jokingly dismissed Braff and Faison. Faison and Braff have been part of a lot of interesting Super Bowl scenarios. In 2023, They were joined by John Travolta, who helped them to sing a parody of the popular tune “Summer Nights” from the 1978 film “Grease”. In 2022, they staged a reunion of their popular sitcom “Scrubs” by joining together in a spoof version of “I Feel Pretty” from “West Side Story”. Braff says the ad led to people coming to him and asking for detailed information about T-Mobile’s various consumer plans.
