Janet Jackson reveals she almost played Storm in X-Men

Janet Jackson recently visited the set of The Drew Barrymore Show, where she revealed that she was once offered the role of superhero Storm in the big-screen adaptation of Marvel’s X-Men comics.

Drew Barrymore’s co-host Ross Matthews mistakenly thought Jackson was almost in The Matrix, but the pop diva somewhat corrected him… she actually can’t remember the name of the movie she was supposed to be in, just remember that Halle Berry starred in it and her character name was Storm.

She added, “But I couldn’t accept the role because I had just left on the Janet tour.”

Berry made her superhero debut as Storm in the 2001 film based on the Marvel comic book, and reprised her role in X2, X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past. The franchise stars Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier, James Marsden as Cyclops, Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, Anna Paquin as Rogue etc. Also, read – Billie Eilish’s Battle against Severe Depression and liking toward girls
