Amazing Spider-Man actor Jamie Foxx shared about his ‘medical complication’ in April 2023.
Jamie Foxx is sharing more details about the mystery illness that forced him to admit to the hospital last April 2023. The Oscar-winning actor spoke to worried fans outside a restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona, where he tried to answer what happened when he suffered a “medical complication” more than a year ago.
“Look, April 11th of last year, a bad headache, my son asked for an Advil,” Foxx said before snapping his fingers. “It’s been 20 days since I left.”
on April 12 Corinne Foxx revealed that her father (Jamie Foxx) was recovering from a mysterious medical complication. “Thankfully, due to quick actions and great care, he is already on the road to recovery,” she wrote on social networks at the time. “We know how much he is loved and we appreciate your prayers. The family requests fans to give them privacy during this time.”
Jamie Foxx has not yet disclosed the health condition he suffered.
“I don’t remember anything,” Jamie told fans at the restaurant. “So they told me – I’m in Atlanta – they told me, my sister and my daughter, they took me to the first doctor and they said… ‘ah’, they gave me a cortisone shot. He continued, “The other doctor said there’s something going on up there,” pointing to his head. “I won’t say it on camera, I won’t say it on camera. But it was…” Foxx said as he shook his head in deep thought.
Foxx previously said his sister Deidra saved his life during his health crisis, sharing an Instagram post that read, “Without you, I wouldn’t be here … if you hadn’t made the decisions you made, I would have lost my life”.
The actor, who recently returned to FOX’s Beat Shazam competition after illness kept him out for Season 6, has also teased a return to stand-up comedy where he will address what happened.
