Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Foxx Is Engaged!
Jamie Foxx’s Daughter Corinne Foxx wrote “When I first saw you, I knew you were mine forever,” via Instagram on Sunday, December 17, alongside black-and-white photos of her and her fiancé Joe Hooten. A close-up view of a boat and her engagement ring.
Corinne and Hooten, who attend the University of Southern California, have been seeing each other since 2018. The actress shared the first photo of her with Hooten in 2019, when the couple posed in a horse stable. “Spent the weekend with some studs,” Corinne wrote via Instagram at the time.
The couple has been relatively private over the years, but they have shared some glimpses of their relationship, including a photo of the couple looking at each other while wearing formal attire.
Corinne and her sister Anelise is close to her Father Jamie Foxx
Jamie, 56, welcomed Corinne with ex-girlfriend Connie Kline in February 1994. The Oscar winner became a father for the second time in October 2008, when he and ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis welcomed their daughter Anelise.
This year has been full of ups and downs for the Fox family. In April, Corinne announced that her father had been hospitalized after suffering a “medical complication.” “Thankfully, thanks to quick action and great care, he is now on the road to recovery,” she said in a statement at the time.
Jamie Foxx is the biggest supporter of his two daughters, Corinne and Anelise, even when they are not with him.
Although he remained silent about the details of her condition, Jamie provided a health update via a candid Instagram video in July and credited Corinne, as well as her sister, for saving his life.
“Honestly, my sister Diedra Dixon and my daughter Corinne Marie saved my life,” he said at the time. “I can’t express how good it feels to welcome your family like this.”
