Howie Mandel found his wife in a pool of blood and blamed Gummies for this Accident
Howie Mandel has detailed the horrifying moment he found his wife in a pool of blood after a night of drinking during a recent trip to Las Vegas.
Appearing on “Live with Kelly and Mark” on Monday, The Deal or No Deal host explained that he and his wife of more than 40 years, recently took a trip to Sin City that turned out horribly evil.
“We were partying. It was too much. She was drunk. I didn’t know it, and in the middle of the night she got up and, I don’t know where she was going, but she crashed into the wall. She fell and hit the panels,” Mandel told talk show hosts. “She hit herself while she was falling. She slipped, fell, hit her eye, fell to the ground and broke her cheek.”
Mandel said he heard a loud bang followed by screams.
“I woke up and said, ‘Where are you?’ And she said, ‘I don’t know.’ That’s what she said,” he explained.
Mandel, 68, detailed the horror when he discovered his wife, also 68, covered in blood.
He said that when he switched on the lights and looked around for his wife, he found her in the corner sitting while facing down at first he was not aware of the cut on her head but there was blood everywhere.
“I panicked. I picked her up and put her on the bed. There was blood everywhere. I went and grabbed all the towels, and all the towels were covered in blood. And she said, ‘Bring me ice.’ Bring me ice.” “I don’t know where to get ice.”
Mandel found a nearby soda can and placed it on Terry’s head. But moments later, she threw it across the room.
“When she did that, I saw her head and you could actually see her skull opened up,” he said. “I panic.”
He then rushed her to the hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries. Also read – Kevin Costner has broken his silence about his alleged romance with Jewel.
Howie Mandel blames marijuana gummies for accidents, not alcohol
Howie Mandel told TMZ in an interview published the next day that his wife had eaten marijuana gummies before the fall but she was not drunk.
“She doesn’t have a problem with alcohol,” Mandel said. “I’m going to tell you the truth: she took gummies that had marijuana. She doesn’t have a problem with alcohol.”
The “America’s Got Talent” judge went on to say that Terry was worried that people would try to intervene with her drinking after hearing the story. Mandel said he wanted to share the story because of how much it scared him at the time.
Fortunately, Terry has now made a full recovery after managing to emerge from the ordeal unscathed.
“She’s absolutely perfect,” he said. “There is no scar. She is beautiful.”
