House of the Dragons Season 2, the next season of the Game of Thrones spin-off, premieres this weekend, bringing a civil war that will tear the Seven Kingdoms apart in a battle for the Iron Throne. A time and date have been set for the world to witness the war that will ultimately lead to the end of Targaryen’s rule. Picking up where season 1 left off, the new season will depict the struggle between two warring factions of the Targaryen family, led by King Aegon II and Queen Rhaenyra, for control of Westeros.

When will House of the Dragon season 2 premiere?

The House of Dragons Season 2 will be released on Sunday, 16th June. Making it perfect for weekend viewing, the season will premiere exclusively on HBO and episodes will be available to stream on Max on the same day. New episodes will be released at 9 pm ET/PT, every Sunday.
