Amber Tamblyn returns to the set 23 years after her sudden departure from General Hospital

Amber Tamblyn, who played Emily Bowen-Quartermaine on GH from 1995 to 2001, returned to the studio to make an appearance in the primetime special General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling, airing January 4 on ABC. ,

On her blog, Amber talked about the history of her character on the iconic soap opera, Emily Quartermaine, and what it was like to be back on set.

On Instagram, she posted: “For the 60th anniversary of my acting alma mater, I return to the set of the iconic soap opera #GeneralHospital to be a part of the anniversary special airing tonight at 10 pm.” It’s on ABC… Happy 60 Years to my GH family! You are forever Emily Quartermaine, Amber.
