Eminem releases new studio album titled The Death of Slim Shady
Eminem has announced the release of his latest album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) on social media following a brief appearance at the NFL Draft.
They also teased a new trailer for the album on social media. The teaser features a crime reporter discussing the death of Eminem’s alter ego, Slim Shady.
Eminem’s alter ego Slim Shady is popular among all music lovers. He worked on 1997’s Slim Shady EP and The Slim Shady LP, which followed two years later.
He says, “Through his complex and oft-criticized, tongue-twisting rhymes, the anti-hero known as Slim Shady has no shortage of enemies.”

The true crime reporter continues to discuss the motive for Slim Shady’s murder. He says that Mathers’ ego was ultimately destroyed due to obscene lyrics and controversial actions. He added, “Join me as we recreate the events that led to the murder of Slim Shady.” The 51-year-old rapper himself also makes a very brief appearance and comments on the ongoing fictional murder case, “I knew it was only a matter of time for Slim.”
Eminem’s last album, Music to Be Murdered By, was released in January 2020. It debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and had a hit single, “Godzilla” featuring Juice Wrld.
Earlier, the rapper had come into the limelight when false news of his death surfaced on the internet in the month of December, which angered many fans.
