DJ Ricky Buchanan aka SLICK RICK was murdered Brutally
Popular Memphis DJ Ricky Buchanan was found dead in pieces inside his home in the Berclair area this week. He was known by his stage name “Slick Rick”.
Slick Rick — who was found dead by his brother on Wednesday — told FOX13 reporter Walter Murphy that he went to his brother’s house and found him dismembered.

“I went inside and found him, and I called 911. It was horrible,” John told the news outlet, adding that he didn’t initially realize his brother’s body had been dismembered. . ,

John also described several “strange” circumstances in the house, including that he found his brother’s dog, Lucky, still in the yard.
Rick’s brother says Rick was still in this condition holding his keys and his pants pulled down. He also says his back door was slightly open… so, to say it’s suspicious would be an understatement.
John also mentioned that this is not the first time Rick has faced death
John also mentioned an incident in 2014, when Rick was shot during a robbery in Memphis, which he survived – but John says he was never the same after that.
Now, police are said to be investigating the circumstances surrounding Rick’s death, while John and the rest of his family focus on the next steps.
“We’re just securing the property,” he said. “Arranging the funeral. Taking care of my mother.” John also reveals that his family plans to adopt Lucky after Rick’s death.
