One of the most popular animated film series Despicable Me is all set to return with the fourth installment (Despicable Me 4). Gru and the Minions have won many hearts with their mischief and cuteness and will do the same in Despicable Me 4. Despicable Me 3 grossed $1.034 billion worldwide in 2017, Despicable Me 2 (2013) grossed $970.8 million worldwide, and Part 1 grossed $543.6 million.
The cast of the Movie
Steve Carell will return as the reformed supervillain Gru in Despicable 4. Kristen Wiig will play Gru’s wife Lucy Wilde, and Steven Coogan will be Silas Ramsbottom. Miranda Cosgrove, Nev Scharrel, and Dana Gaier will play Gru’s adopted daughters Margo, Agnes, and Edith, respectively. Synopsis
The trailer for Despicable Me 4 has arrived, giving us a glimpse of what to expect from Despicable Me this time. This shows that Gru’s son doesn’t like the reformed supervillain very much.
The entire family’s lives are in danger, and they must unite to defeat their enemy, Maxime Le Mal. This will allow Gru and his son to bond and become closer.
Packed with non-stop action and Illumination’s signature subversive humor, Despicable Me 4 is directed by Minions co-creator, Oscar® nominee Chris Renaud (Despicable Me, The Secret Life of Pets), and produced by Illumination Founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Brett Hoffman (Executive Producer, The Super Mario Bros. Movie and Minions: The Rise of Gru). The film is co-directed by Patrick Delage (animation director of Sing 2 and The Secret Life of Pets 2), and the screenplay is written by White Lotus’ Emmy-winning creator, Mike White, and veteran writer of every Despicable Me film, Kane Daurio.
