Derek Hough share update about wife Hayley
On Thursday morning, Derek Hough shared an update on his Instagram following his wife Hayley Erbert’s scalp surgery.
“It is with immense relief, gratitude, and immense joy that I want to share that Hayley’s cranioplasty surgery was successfully completed as planned,” he wrote on Instagram.
Derek Hough expressed his “sincere gratitude” to the medical team, writing: “Their expertise and steady hand were vital throughout this journey, ensuring a smooth and successful surgery. Especially Dr. Mai, who not only performed the surgery but also saved lives. “of 2 people.” , a week ago.
Derek said: “This surgery is a major milestone in my wife’s recovery process and her support has been vital in getting us this far. We are full of hope and optimism for the future, knowing that she is on the road to a full recovery, surrounded by such a loving community.
Derek thanked everyone for there love and support and emphasized: “Your thoughts, prayers for her and positive energy given to her have been a source of strength and comfort to us during this difficult time. It’s really comforting to know how much love and care there is around us.”
Along with the lengthy post, Derek also included a photo of himself at Hayley’s bedside.

Earlier this month, Hayley had to deal with a medical emergency.
Derek Hough wrote: “Washington D.C. At the end of last night’s tour, my wife Hayley collapsed from a cranial hematoma caused by a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniotomy. Her condition is stable.”
After the craniotomy, Derek revealed that Hayley would have to undergo another surgery “to replace much of her skull that was removed.”
