Delhi earthquake today: The earthquake was felt in parts of India, including the capital, New Delhi, and surrounding areas. People came out of homes and office blocks in parts of New Delhi. There were no immediate reports of damage in India or Nepal.
Tremendous earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi, NCR. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 6.2 occurred in Nepal at a depth of 5 km. The earthquake was also felt in parts of India, including the capital, New Delhi, and surrounding areas. People came out of homes and office blocks in parts of New Delhi. There were no immediate reports of damage in India or Nepal.
The National Center for Seismology said the epicenter was located at 29.39 degrees north latitude and 81.23 degrees east longitude in Nepal.
Delhi Police posted on social media platform X, “Hey Delhiites! We hope you are all safe. Please get out of your buildings to a safe place, but do not panic. Don’t use the elevator! For any emergency help, dial 112”.
Tremors were also felt in Chandigarh, Jaipur, and other parts of North India. The police control room in the pink city said there was no information yet about the damage.
