Ryan Lies give update about Cassie Ventura comeback
Cassie Ventura In an interview published by TMZ on Tuesday, December 12, the “Me & U” singer’s former collaborator Ryan Leslie told the outlet that he recently spoke with Cassie Ventura following sexual assault allegations made against Diddy.
Leslie said the timing of the alleged incidents occurred long before their working (and romantic) relationship. However, he mentioned that the singer plans to go on tour soon.
Leslie said, “Well, our last conversation she was planning a tour, so we talked about that.”
Leslie and Cassie dated in the mid-2000s. During that time, they produced their debut single “Me and You” and the rest of their self-titled debut album.
They broke up just before she began her relationship with Diddy. Leslie and Cassie reunited in 2017 when their former manager Ed Woods died in 2017.
If a tour is in the works, it seems possible they could rekindle the old music flame. Cassie Ventura is now married and has two children that she shares with her husband Alex Fine.
Çassie allegation against Diddy help other women to come out
Leslie’s update on Cassie comes after she made disturbing allegations against Diddy in a serious lawsuit last month. Explosive legal documents allege that Diddy physically, mentally and sexually abused her on multiple occasions during her relationship.
Just days after the lawsuit was filed, Diddy and Cassie reached a settlement. Unfortunately for Diddy, the lawsuit opened the door for other women to tell their horror stories about Diddy, resulting in three more cases of sexual assault.
