Canary Black starring Kate Beckinsale: Everything About the Film’s Cast and Plot
Kate Beckinsale is back with a new action spy movie “Canary Black”. Beckinsale is known for her amazing role in the fantasy Werewolf and vampire movies “Underground”, “Van Helsing” and the romantic – war movie Pear Harbor, she is now set to play the role of a CIA agent in the upcoming movie.
Matthew Kennedy penned the Canary Black’s Script which was directed by French film director Pierre Morel, known for his work in District 13, Taken and Paris with Love, and his most recent helm Freelance starring John Cena. The movie was first introduced at the Cannes Film Market in 2022.
The filming of Canary Black took place primarily in Zagreb the capital of Croatia.
Canary Balck Plot Summary
The movie follows up on Avery Graves (Kate Beckinsale) a CIA agent who trained to be an agent seen the age of 18 and is considered the best agent by her boss. On the other hand like a secret agent, she lives a normal life as a caring wife with her husband (a civilian who has no idea that Avery works for the CIA) who is the only family she has.
However, things take a drastic change when some terrorists find out about her secrets and kidnap her husband. They then blackmail her into the agency by asking her to steal a file named “Canary Black” in exchange for her husband’s life. Avery with the help of a colleague – Serena got her hands on the file, according to the CIA the file contains some information that could lead to World War 3 and to prevent that, the CIA put its every single best agent to find Avery and prevent the file from falling in the hands of Terrorists.
