The third season, which premiered in two parts a few months ago on Netflix, focused the spotlight on Luke Newton’s Colin and Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope.

Netflix details about the next season

Netflix shared the details of the story of the upcoming Bridgerton 4: “Although his older and younger brothers are happily married, Benedict is reluctant to settle down, until he meets a captivating Silver Lady (referring to Sophie Beckett) at her mother’s masquerade ball.” This all but confirms that the upcoming Bridgerton 4 will adapt Quinn’s book, A Gentleman’s Offer, and feature Sophie Beckett as Benedict’s love interest. Sophie’s Story is similar to Cinderella

Bridgerton 4 lead Female character Sophie is the illegitimate daughter of Richard Gunningworth, Earl of Penwood. Since her mother died in childbirth, Sophie’s father took her on as her guardian, claiming that she was an orphan (therefore, she was not his daughter). The earl later married a horrible woman with two daughters who treated Sophie badly, especially after her father died, and was forced by her stepmother to be their servant. Sophie’s story should be familiar to you, as it reflects the fairy tale “Cinderella.”

One night, Sophie sneaks out to attend a masquerade ball hosted by members of high society. There she meets Benedict and the two talk and dance all night. Unfortunately, Sophie leaves to avoid being caught by her stepmother and Benedict does not discover her true identity. Later, Sophie’s stepmother discovers her escapade and kicks her out, and she does not see Benedict again for two years. Benedict gets Sophie a job as a maid at the Bridgerton house and the two fall in love, despite the scandalous nature of their relationship. However, Benedict and Sophie persist and marry in the ‘Bridgerton’ books.

According to the books, after marrying, Benedict and Sophie have four children: Charles, Alexander, William and Violet. The couple gets off to a rocky start and a long journey to the altar, but Benedict and Sophie live happily ever after in Bridgerton.
