What Kangana say about Tejas?
Often the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform go unnoticed by the nation. Tejas is a film in which I have the honor of playing the role of an Air Force pilot who puts country before himself. I hope that with this film we instill a sense of patriotism and pride in today’s youth. I am really looking forward to this journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie,” says Ranaut.
A few days ago, netizens suggested that Kangana’s Tejas should be renamed Uri 2. For those unaware, Uri 2 is inspired by the 2018 blockbuster action thriller Uri: The Surgical Strike. Kangana’s Tejas is touted to be an action thriller celebrating the courageous lives of Air Force officers. When Kangana unveiled the poster of Tejas, she dedicated the film to “honoring the bravery of our heroic Air Force pilots”.
