Beyonce Hair Care Line “Cecred” is Here
The highly anticipated Beyonce hair care line Cecred officially launches this morning. This is the latest business endeavor for the musician and one that holds special significance for him.
After teasing a potential beauty brand in May 2023, Beyoncé has officially confirmed her hair-care line Cecred. On February 7, in a video posted on Instagram in collaboration with the brand page, people are seen taking various steps from washing to styling their hair, reminiscent of the Knowles family at Tina Knowles’ salon.
Why does Cecred hold an important place in Beyonce’s Heart?
In the 1980s, Knowles ran a hair salon out of her home in Houston and later opened a standalone location called Headliners. Beyoncé’s first job as a child was cleaning hair in a salon. One of her mother’s clients, an opera singer, inspired her to become a performer, and eventually, Beyoncé – with her band Destiny’s Child – began performing for clients at the salon. What are the Products you will find in Cecred?
After keeping details under wraps for quite some time (more on that later), we finally know what products Beyonce Hair Care brand will be bringing out. Cecred’s first line, the Foundation Collection, launching on February 20, includes eight products designed to nourish all hair types, from straight to curly, with formulations made from rich oils and butter.
In-shower products include a clarifying shampoo and scalp scrub to remove buildup from the scalp, a hydrating shampoo made with hyaluronic acid, a moisturizing deep conditioner with African oils and shea butter for moisturizing and detangling, and a reconstructive treatment mask. The brand’s patent-pending bioactive keratin fermentation to address damage.
