Beetlejuice 2 Teaser is out and the Cast also introduced the “Wednesday” Star Jenna Ortega
Ending a long journey and much-stalled development, the makers of the upcoming American fantasy horror comedy film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the sequel to the 1988 film Beetlejuice, have unveiled the trailer of the film. Tim Burton is back at the steering wheel as director of the long-awaited sequel to his 1988 classic.
The film brings back original star Michael Keaton as the eponymous bio-exorcist, who also starred as the green-haired ghost in the original film, in a sequel with Winona Ryder playing the role of Lydia Deetz And Catherine O. ‘Hara as Delia Deetz more than 30 years later. The picture marks Tim Burton’s first feature film since directing the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Dumbo in 2019.
Synopsis of Beetlejuice 2
According to the official synopsis, “After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter Astrid finds a mysterious model of the city in the attic and a door to the afterlife accidentally opens.
It states, “With trouble rising in both areas, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to wreak havoc with his kind.”
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Tim Burton, who directed the first film, confirmed that Beetlejuice 2 will focus on “bringing together three generations of Deetz women”, focusing on Lydia. He said, “I connected so much to the character of Lydia, but then you come along so many years later, and you have your journey, from cool teenager to lame adult, back and forth.” “It made it emotional, gave it a foundation. So that’s what really sold it [on making the sequel].”
