Bad Monkey: Apple TV+ launches trailer
Bad Monkey is the new upcoming American drama television series which is Based on the 2013 novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen. Bill Lawrence, is known for his work on the hit Apple TV+ series ‘Ted Lasso’ and the current series ‘Shrinking’. Lawrence not only developed ‘Bad Monkey’ but also served as executive producer and showrunner. Vince Vaughn takes on a dual role as star and executive producer of the series.
What’s in the Bad Monkey trailer?
The trailer for the new comedy series ‘Bad Monkey’ starring Vince Vaughn (The series adapts Carl Hiaasen’s best-selling novel ) centres on Andrew Yancy, played by Vaughn. Yancy, once an officer with the Miami Police Department, is now a health inspector in the Florida Keys.
His mundane life changes when tourists find a human arm. Yancy sees this as an opportunity to return to his old police role if he can prove that this is a murder case. The series follows Yancy navigating several quirky Florida characters and a troublesome monkey to solve the case. ‘Bad Monkey’ will be released on August 14. The first two episodes will be available immediately, with new episodes released each week until the finale on October 9. The series will have 10 episodes.
