Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez Officially Divorced
It’s been a year since Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez split. However, in recent events, the two officially confirmed their divorce, making the separation permanent.
Six months after the 30-year-old pop star filed for divorce from her 28-year-old real estate broker, the Los Angeles Superior Court’s decision to end their nearly three-year marriage became official on Tuesday.
According to court documents, the couple separated more than a year ago. They had a prenuptial agreement, they had no children and there were no significant legal disputes in the split, allowing it to move quickly and cleanly through the court system.
The two had a prenuptial agreement and the terms of their settlement were agreed upon in October, but they had to wait six months as per a court order before finalizing their split. Grande will pay Gomez, a luxury real estate broker, a lump sum of $1.25 million, with no future alimony, plus half of the proceeds from the sale of the Los Angeles home to cover her attorney’s fees which is $25,000. The couple began dating in January 2020 and quarantined together during the pandemic. They appeared together in the video for the Justin Bieber charity single “Stuck with U” in May of that year and announced their engagement in December.
Grande and Gomez were married on May 15, 2021, in a small private ceremony at their home in Montecito, California.
