Angie Harmon accused Instacart Delivery Driver of killing her dog

Actress Angie Harmon, best known for roles on “Law & Order” and “Rizzoli & Isles,” said Monday that an Instacart driver shot one of her dogs during a weekend stop at her home. Harmon posted this to her Instagram account on Monday, April 1, explaining that the delivery driver who worked with IntsaCart got out of his car, delivered groceries and then shot his dog, Oliver.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg, North Carolina, police confirmed elements of her story, saying in a statement that no arrests had been made, no charges had been filed, and would not be seeking further witnesses.

The driver told officers that as he approached Harmon’s home south of Charlotte shortly before noon Saturday, the dog attacked him and he fired in self-defence, the police department said. “There was another dog present at the residence but it did not attack,” police said.

She wrote that she and her daughters were at home and the delivery driver kept saying, “‘Yes, I shot your dog. Yes I shot.'”

She further questions why there were no scratches or bite marks on the delivery man or his pants. Additionally, to find out why the delivery man was working under a female identity named Marley, Angie added a delivery confirmation screenshot that contained a photo of a woman.

Instacart responded to the Dreadful Incident

Soon after the news of the incident reached Instacart, they suspended the delivery driver’s profile and are now cooperating with the authorities in the investigation according to the Report published by Fox News.

In a statement, Instacart wrote – “We were deeply saddened and disturbed to hear about this incident,”  and “We have no tolerance for any kind of violence and the account of the delivery driver was suspended and we are in contact with the authorities and the customer on their investigation.
